Connection and collaboration
We promote connection, collaboration, and information-sharing between community and social service organisations through networking events, facilitating connections, and regular newsletters.
Capability and capacity
We help community and social service organisations in the Manawatū to build their capability and capacity by delivering a range of professional development workshops and one-on-one support for organisations.
Community development
We research the needs of the community sector and undertake activities to meet these needs, such as administering Hancock Community House and the Community Development Small Grants, and hosting the Social Wellbeing Forum.
Advocacy and leadership
We advocate on behalf of the community sector, amplify the stories of our members, and champion solutions to common challenges; and provide leadership to the sector through our membership network and by modelling best-practice for NGOs.
