Training & Development

We offer a range of training workshops and seminars every year with the aim of increasing capability and capacity across the community sector in Palmerston North. These workshops are chosen based on the feedback from our community to strengthen our sector in ways that are pertinent and impactful. We are grateful for the support of the Palmerston North City Council, who enable us to offer these at low cost to community groups.

Training topics include:

  • Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Volunteer management
  • Governance
  • First Aid
  • Sustainable funding
  • Working with at-risk communities
  • Public speaking
  • Whakawhanaungatanga
  • And much more!
